We are an independent, family-run lawn care company that was launched in 2005 with the aim of offering a top quality lawn treatment services using the knowledge, materials and equipment of the professional groundsman and applying it to domestic lawns.
TopGrass was set up by two partners (Ian de Courcy and Tom Arnold) whose backgrounds combine experience in treating professional lawns and sports-turf with business expertise from working in quality-driven blue chip companies. All this enables TopGrass to provide you with the best service possible.
We use the same products and type of equipment which are used on professional lawns and sports-turf to obtain the best results for you.
We buy products in bulk so that we can offer you the service at the same cost or less than DIY.
We ensure that all our technicians are trained to the highest standards. The training includes theory and practical sessions with Derek Walder, past President of the Institute of Groundmanship and Independent Turf Consultant.
Our technicians are all police checked to ensure that we put your security and that of your property as a top priority. We cover a wide range of areas across the UK from Essex, to Cambridge to Northampton, Coventry and many more in between!

What started as a small, hands-on operation has grown into a trusted name, supporting customers across residential, commercial and specialist sectors.
As the business has grown, our values have remained the same. We continue to invest in our people, our training and our standards, ensuring every customer receives the same level of care, attention and expertise that the company was built on. Today, TopGrass is still proudly family-run — combining experience, innovation and integrity in everything we do.
